Experienced UX Designer (Full-Time Contract, Hybrid)
We are seeking an
Experienced UX Designer
to lead
discovery, design, workflows, and usability testing
initiatives. This
full-time contract
role requires a
hybrid schedule , with
two days per week in the office .
What You'll Do: Collaborate with
cross-functional teams and fellow designers
to create user-centered experiences that align business needs with user expectations. Identify and implement solutions to simplify complex processes, reducing
cognitive load
and minimizing user errors. Maintain design consistency across applications by leveraging the
existing Design System and UI styles . Develop
clickable prototypes
to validate design assumptions and test hypotheses. Work across multiple application teams to ensure the
timely delivery
of project requirements. Conduct
design quality assurance
during development to uphold UX standards. Ensure all designs and code comply with
WCAG 2.1 accessibility guidelines . What You'll Need:
Required Qualifications:
10+ years of UX design experience , focusing on
enterprise-level applications . Extensive experience
in user research, including
user interviews, usability testing, and journey mapping . Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex research findings into actionable insights. Deep understanding of
user-centered design principles
and best practices in
interaction design . Exceptional
storytelling, communication, and collaboration skills , with the ability to present ideas effectively and influence stakeholders. Proficiency in
design and prototyping tools , including: Adobe XD (1+ year) Photoshop (4+ years) Illustrator (4+ years) InDesign (4+ years)
Strong front-end design knowledge, including: HTML5 (4+ years) CSS3 (4+ years) Dreamweaver (4+ years)
Experience designing and documenting UX/UI
for web applications ( 4+ years ). Understanding of WCAG 2.1 accessibility guidelines
( 2+ years ). 5+ years of overall IT and technical experience . Bachelor's degree or certification
in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Psychology, or a related field. A
strong portfolio
showcasing enterprise application designs, including your
role, methodology, problem-solving process, key learnings, and outcomes . Active LinkedIn profile . Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with the
PEGA suite of applications . Familiarity with
Agile methodologies (2+ years) .
