Your Role

As a Service Assistant / Busser, you will maintain setup in the dining room to ensure guests receive food and beverage service consistent with Neiman Marcus standards. You will work on-site and report to the Restaurant Manager.

What You'll Do

• Maintain table setup in the dining room, including clearing and resetting tables
• Deliver food and beverages to guests as indicated by kitchen tickets
• Keep the bus station and beverage areas organized and stocked
• Learn table numbers and sections within the dining area
• Assist kitchen and service staff with service needs, such as restocking, bagging to-go orders, and setting up stations
• Support waitstaff by refilling beverages and running food from the kitchen to the dining room
• Set up the dining room with essentials like coffee, iced tea, and ice; restock glasses, flatware, and linens as needed
• Perform pre-shift, post-shift, and daily/weekly duties as assigned
• Lift and move objects such as tables, chairs, and highchairs
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
• Report to work dressed appropriately and prepared with necessary supplies and equipment

What You Bring

• Experience in food and beverage service following proper table service guidelines
• Knowledge of proper placement of china, glassware, and flatware for table settings
• Understanding of service order and placement of table items as per kitchen tickets and guides
• Knowledge of food preparation and culinary terminology
• Ability to interact graciously with the public and multitask effectively
• Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills
• Physical ability to stand, bend, climb stairs, and lift/carry up to 35 pounds
