Our Opportunity
GPJ is hiring a Graphic Designer to join our growing team.
This role is hybrid, requiring on-site reporting at either our Boston or New York City office a minimum of 2 days per week.
Your Role
The Graphic Designer will understand how clients present in a 3D space and visually represent brands in 2D, pushing creative boundaries to enhance output. You will own the agency and client brand image, ensuring all work aligns with brand standards and reflects high quality.
You will bring innovative ideas to solve client challenges creatively, develop new presentation techniques, and translate creative briefs into impactful designs.
In this role, you will:
- Lead in adopting new techniques and design applications.
- Create high-quality sketches, graphics, layouts, mock-ups, and presentations.
- Manage time effectively to meet tight deadlines.
- Approach design thoughtfully, generating multiple concepts and solutions.
- Collaborate with graphics production and creative tech to address design and budget challenges while maintaining brand integrity.
Your Skills
- Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Google Suite.
- Passion for learning new software and tracking emerging trends like AI-based tools (Firefly, Gemini, etc.).
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with accountability, maintaining quality.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, articulating design concepts and providing constructive feedback.
- Experience supervising and mentoring junior creatives and igniters.
- Ability to bring fresh ideas, follow industry trends, and work within strategic boundaries.
- Commitment to an inclusive, energetic environment, maintaining composure under pressure, and providing solutions.
- Strong presentation skills, confidence in sharing work, and understanding of brand guidelines.
- Basic knowledge of the experiential industry, budgets, and role responsibilities within projects.
- Understanding of environmental and experience design principles, including textures, materials, space planning, and 3D concepts.
- Solid graphic production knowledge and collaboration with production teams.
- Understanding of UX/UI principles, prototyping, and collaborating with programmers.
- Excellent design taste and attention to detail, capable of working independently and with teams.
- Proficiency in creating decks, templates, and understanding deck structures.

Experience & Education
- 3-5 years of experience as a Graphic Designer.
- 4-year college degree in Graphic Design, Advertising, Visual Communication, or related field.
Travel & Mobility
- Willingness to travel up to 25%.
- Ability to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Salary Range: $65k - $80k
Salary depends on experience, skills, and location.
