Position Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Technical Illustrator to support our growing customer base. This is a contractor (1099) client-facing role with an average of 20 hours of work each week, involving rotating assignments and supporting multiple clients and industries. The ideal candidate thrives in dynamic environments and proactively applies their expertise to learn and adapt to evolving client needs. This can be an in-office, hybrid, or remote position.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have:
- A strong technical illustration background, developing a variety of graphic types to support operation, maintenance, repair, and user/installation manuals for a wide variety of industrial and consumer products.
- Experience creating product illustrations, working with mechanical/engineering drawings, and modifying existing graphics.
- Considerable experience with tools such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat.
- Previous experience working with layout and graphic design is a plus.
- Previous experience in animation is highly desired.
