Events, Media & Logistics Coordinator

Overview

Are you passionate about high school athletics and skilled at organizing events, media, and logistics?

The CIF San Diego Section is hiring an Events, Media & Logistics Coordinator to support championship events, media outreach, and organizational operations.

This is a versatile role where youll ensure smooth execution of CIF events while driving communications and supporting school athletics across the San Diego region.

Key Responsibilities

Event Coordination

• Plan and manage logistics for CIF events.
• Support tournament sanctioning and sportsmanship/inclusion programs.
• Handle inventory and serve as CIFSDS liaison.

Media & Communications

• Distribute seasonal bulletins and CIF updates.
• Manage media credentials and distribution lists.
• Coordinate event programs, presentations, and print materials.
• Update and maintain CIF San Diego's website & social media.
• Ensure accurate distribution of rule books and official documentation.

Administrative & Logistics Support

• Prepare and distribute championship certificates and awards.
• Coordinate mail and information sharing with member schools.
• Manage supplies, inventory, and CIF historical records.
• Collaborate with the CIFSDS team on projects and logistics.

Qualifications

Required:

• Experience in event planning, logistics, or administrative support
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency with Google Suite, Microsoft Office, CMS platforms, and social media tools (e.g., Hootsuite)
• Graphic design or desktop publishing experience (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Commitment to CIF's mission and high school athletics

Preferred:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher
• Background in education, athletics administration, accounting, or nonprofit work
• Familiarity with CIF San Diego Section and CIF State operations
