As a Technical Writer at REYCO, you'll play a key role in producing detailed manuals for our custom-designed equipment. You'll collaborate with engineers and designers to create clear, functional, and accurate documentation that supports our customers after the sale. A strong understanding of mechanical systems, drafting, and 3D modeling is essential for success in this role.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed technical manuals for REYCO equipment.
  • Create and self-check detailed fabrication and manufacturing drawings.
  • Work on 3D modeling projects and assist with moderate design work.
  • Knowledge and ability to utilize design specific software.
  • Ability to do equipment sizing calculations using REYCO software.
  • Ability to multi-task between several projects concurrently in a timely and professional manner.
  • Use AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, and REYCO-specific tools for design and calculations.
  • Manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality output.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
  • Adhere to safety practices and contribute to a positive team culture.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Experience in AutoCAD and Inventor (or similar CAD software) is a plus.
  • Ability to create and interpret technical drawings for fabrication and manufacturing.
  • Associate degree in drafting or equivalent experience.
  • Strong technical writing skills for developing detailed equipment manuals.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Inventor (or similar CAD software).
  • Moderate mechanical design experience and 3D modeling proficiency.
  • Competence in equipment sizing and engineering tools.
  • Excellent time management and ability to multitask.
  • Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
