Studio Manager
We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Studio Manager to lead our massage and skincare studio. This role requires a strong leader who is passionate about health and wellness, exceptional customer service, and team development. As the Studio Manager, you will oversee day-to-day operations, staff performance, client satisfaction, and sales of both services and retail wellness products.
Team Leadership & Staff Management
- Recruit, train, schedule, and motivate a team of massage therapists, estheticians, and front desk associates
- Conduct regular one-to-one meetings, team meetings, and performance reviews
- Maintain high morale and foster a supportive, professional environment
- Set a high bar for performance and hold each team member accountable for results
Client Experience & Service Excellence
- Ensure a welcoming, relaxing, and professional environment for all guests
- Resolve client concerns and feedback with professionalism and care
- Promote a strong culture of customer service and personalized client care
- Maintain member engagement and satisfaction
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Drive revenue growth with membership sales, appointment renewals, and retail product performance
- Monitor and report on daily/weekly/monthly KPIs (e.g., client retention, sales goals, utilization rates)
- Implement promotions to boost engagement and revenue
- Consistently develop and enhance the teams sales capabilities
- Build community connections (Chamber of Commerce, Police, Fire, Teachers).
Operational Oversight
- Oversee appointment scheduling, therapist availability, and service flow, optimizing capacity
- Maintain compliance with health, hygiene, and safety regulations (e.g., sanitation, licensing)
- Manage inventory, such as session products, skincare lines, retail items, linens,
Financial & Administrative Management
- Manage the stores budget, labor costs, and operational expenses, while avoiding shrinkage
- Handle daily cash reconciliation and reporting
- Ensure accuracy and efficiency in POS systems and client management software
Qualifications
- 35 years of experience in retail or spa management (massage/wellness industry preferred)
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills Knowledge of massage therapy and skincare services, wellness products, and client care best practices
- Sales-driven mindset with proven success in meeting revenue goals
- Familiarity with spa booking systems and POS software (e.g., Mindbody, Booker, Vagaro) preferred
- Must be able to work flexible days & hours of operations when necessary
Compensation
- Competitive pay and bonus structure
- Base salary up to $50,000 annually + Performance based bonuses up to $13,000 paid monthly, quarterly and annually
