Rate Range: $65-$70/Hr

Job Description:

  • As a Design Program Manager within the Payments organization you will be responsible for helping to manage the day to day operations our design system team.
  • This will include managing the team Jira backlog, coordinating team rituals, and assisting the team of designers with Agile development best practices.
  • You will work closely with designers, product managers and engineers on managing a design backlog.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years in an Agile development environment, working as a program manager, scrum master, design operations or similar role.
  • Experience working in a User Experience or front end development focused team.
  • Experience working with Jira and Confluence, managing the lifecycle of stories/epics/tasks. Understanding of best practices in how to organize Jira tickets across a large team and linking with engineering efforts.
  • Ability to socialize and communicate roadmaps and understand road blocks and release processes.
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to communicate to leadership on deadlines and schedules, ability to make sure issues are resolved in a timely manner.
Nice to Have:
  • Experience working with design systems.
  • Experience in a large, matrixed organization.
  • Background in UX design or similar area.
