Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Social Media Manager located in the San Francisco Bay Area or Indianapolis (for proximity to team meet ups, primarily remote) . The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and executing social media content & strategies, managing all social media accounts, optimizing social media performance & reporting on metrics. Primarily, your role will be to innovate PawCo's social media accounts to significantly increase engagement (views, comments, shares, profile visits, etc.).

You dream about a job where your role is to be logged into social media accounts for 8 hours per day. You're a self starter who doesn't need permission to create, post & comment. You're creative & passionate about how to integrate a brand into trendy conversations & topics without being cringe. Your worst nightmare is posting a boring video, story or comment. You think most brands have weak social media & are dying for an attempt to prove how a company should be using social media in 2025. Qualifications

Expert social media user - you spend more time than you'd like to admit on social media
Experience in posting content regularly with the ability to post every day between feeds & stories throughout the week
Strong analytical skills to measure and optimize social media performance
Proficiency with social media management tools and platforms
Ability to work on-site in either San Francisco or Indianapolis on occasion
Bachelor's degree preferred
Vision for strategy & content preferred over any particular experience (1-2 years experience preferred)
Must own dog & be comfortable using in filming
