Job Title: Civil Designer – Land Development

Full Time - Direct Hire - Permanent

Location: Seattle, WA

Salary: Up to $95k

About the Role:

We are currently working with the in-house civil engineering group for the largest Homebuilder/Developer in the US. We are seeking a motivated Civil Designer with experience in land development projects to join their growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working on a variety of residential and commercial development projects and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed site development drawings and plans, including grading, drainage, paving, water, and sanitary sewer design.
• Support Project Engineers and Project Managers with design and drafting using AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software.
• Assist with preparing construction documents, exhibits, and permitting packages.
• Conduct research and apply local, state, and federal design standards, codes, and regulations.
• Collaborate with engineers, surveyors, and other technical staff to ensure quality and accuracy in project deliverables.
• Participate in QA/QC reviews of project drawings.

Qualifications:

• 3–5+ years of experience in civil design, preferably with land/site development projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D required.
• Knowledge of site grading, utility design, stormwater management, corridor modeling, and roadway layout.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
