Qualifications
• Demonstrated interest in graphic design, communications, and marketing
• Present digital work samples that demonstrate creativity, solid design skills, and an attention to detail
• Experience working in Microsoft 365
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat), with an emphasis on video/motion applications, Premiere Pro and After Effects
• Work well as a member of a team; detail orientated and organized, while possessing excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Successful candidate must be able to take direction, while being a self-starter, and can work independently
Work Hours - 15 hours per week, Tuesdays spent in the NYC office
- Work closely with the design, editorial, and production staff
- Operate in a fast-paced, agency-style environment within University Relations
- Support the design team, create, and edit multi-platform communications
- Assist with photo research and media archival
- Have an in-depth knowledge of current, new, and emerging technology as related to graphic design, motion, and video editing tools
- Maintain overall brand consistency in all marketing communications
- Assist with photo and video shoots
- Perform other such duties as may be assigned from time to time
- Report to the Executive Creative Director
