Senior Mechanical Designer

Job Title: Senior Mechanical Designer

Location: Tulsa, OK

Salary: $80-95K annual base salary

Main Requirements: 4+ years of experience designing ASME Code pressure vessels and systems, proficient in Solidworks

Seeking a skilled mechanical designer with a passion for problem solving to design ASME Code pressure vessels and support a wide range of technical teams and customers!

Responsibilities:

Design ASME Code pressure vessels and systems using CAD/Solidworks tools
Draft and check detailed technical drawings for vessels and aftermarket parts
Perform calculations and compile documentation for manufacturing
Understand and apply ASME Code standards, EI Qualification rules, and welding/testing processes
Build accurate BOMs (Bills of Materials) and assemble O&M manuals
Work closely with sales, production, purchasing, quality control, suppliers, and customers
Coordinate with internal and external teams to meet production schedules
Ensure designs meet market-specific requirements, especially in aviation and industrial sectors
Recommend improvements for equipment performance and product quality
Analyze and resolve design and production-related problems

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
Proficiency in Solidworks
4+ years of experience in mechanical design
Pressure Vessel knowledge
