Aquent is hiring: Sr. UX Designer in Los Angeles

Base pay range

$102.00/hr - $113.00/hr

We’re seeking a Senior UX Designer to join our Ads Planning team. This role will focus on building tools that support advertising campaigns, with a strong emphasis on data visualization and enterprise tool design. The ideal candidate is an independent, proactive designer who can translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.

What You’ll Do

• Design internal and external tools that support advertising campaign planning.
• Create data visualizations, dashboards, and insights that help advertisers and planners make decisions.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and UX researchers to deliver impactful solutions.
• Translate technical data into intuitive user experiences.
• Drive projects forward independently, with minimal oversight.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in data visualization (graphs, charts, dashboards).
• Background in designing for enterprise or complex tools.
• Proven ability to work independently and proactively in fast-paced environments.
  
  

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience in digital advertising (e.g., YouTube Ads or similar platforms).
• Previous work with internal tools or enterprise platforms.
  
  

Portfolio Requirement

• A portfolio is required (does not need to include full case studies).
• Must feature examples of data visualization work, ideally within enterprise or internal tools.
• Should highlight collaboration with product and engineering partners.
  
  

Additional Details

• Bachelor’s degree not required with strong relevant experience.
• Experience at large companies is not mandatory—skills and portfolio relevance are the priority.
• Target titles: Senior UX Designer, Senior Interaction Designer, Staff UX Designer, Product Designer.
  
  

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $102.38 to $113.76 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
