Position Summary
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Footwear Photographer to concept, capture, and deliver compelling imagery that brings our multi-brand and inline footwear collections to life. This role requires a strong understanding of storytelling, lifestyle photography, brand identity, and the nuances of shooting footwear in natural lighting and stylized settings. Strong attention to detail, color accuracy, and high taste level are essential, as the Footwear Photographer will be responsible for styling, light-shaping, and photographing all assignments. You will produce content appearing across digital marketing, social media, and e-commerce channels that aligns with the Kith voice.
Location: HQ - Williamsburg, Brooklyn
Status: Full-time/100% on-site
Compensation: $70,000-$80,000 annually
Position Summary

This role requires a strong understanding of storytelling, lifestyle photography, brand identity, and the nuances of shooting footwear in natural lighting and stylized settings. Strong attention to detail, color accuracy, and high taste level are essential, as the Footwear Photographer will be responsible for styling, light-shaping, and photographing all assignments. You will produce content appearing across digital marketing, social media, and e-commerce channels that aligns with the Kith voice.
Responsibilities
- Capture high-quality images that reflect brand aesthetics and resonate with our core audience.
- Deliver assets and provide detailed notes to post-production.
- Brainstorm and execute lifestyle photoshoots that highlight footwear in real-world/aspirational settings, as well as in-studio.
- Collaborate closely with the creative, marketing, special projects teams, and other photographers to understand brand messaging and collection campaign goals.
- Stay current with visual and cultural trends to ensure imagery is modern and relevant.
- Organize and maintain a digital asset library with clear file naming conventions, in accordance with established Kith standards.
- Support PDP photography.
- 2+ years proven experience as a lifestyle or commercial photographer, ideally in footwear or fashion.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating experience with location-based and brand-aligned photography.
- Strong understanding of color accuracy in photography, including color profiles, calibration, and consistent reproduction across digital mediums under varying lighting conditions/camera systems
- Strong understanding of brand storytelling through visuals and ability to translate creative direction into imagery.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong interest in, and affinity for, footwear and footwear trends.
- Resourceful, detail-oriented, efficient.
- Excited, passionate, and ambitious about creating impactful visual content.
- Advanced knowledge of Canon camera systems.
- Advanced knowledge of Profoto lighting/shaping tools.
- Advanced knowledge of Capture One.
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop).
