SMZ is seeking a Advertising Project Manager. The APM plays a crucial role in the successful execution of advertising campaigns at the agency. They act as the central point of contact, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, aligned with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

  • Project Planning and Creative asset Management:
    – Help define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and cross-functional teams (Media, Account and Creative).
    – Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including reports, status updates, traffic documents and risk logs.
    – Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Team Collaboration:
    – Help foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
    – Act as a liaison between Media, Account and Creative teams to ensure all creative assets are organized and trafficked in a timely manner.
    – Facilitate effective communication between team members, stakeholders,and clients.
  • Client and Stakeholder Communication:
    – Communicate project updates, progress, risks, and performance results clearly and concisely to all relevant stakeholders.
    – Gather feedback and ensure project deliverables meet client expectations.
  • Digital Marketing Expertise:
    – Strong knowledge of digital marketing strategies, channels and best practices.
    – Proficiency in using project management software and ability to adapt to new PM tools.
    – Keep up-to-date with the latest digital trends, technologies, and industry regulations.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Education: A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is often beneficial, however, practical experience and specialized certifications are highly valued.
  • Experience: Proven experience (3-5 years) in digital marketing and project management roles, preferably in an agency or consulting environment.Essential Skills:
    – Project Management Skills: Planning, organizing, resource allocation, risk management, time management, and proficiency in various project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
    – Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
    – Soft Skills: Leadership, problem-solving, decision-making, analytical thinking, attention to detail, adaptability, and continuous learning.

What to know about SMZ’s current hybrid work model

  • We require two days (Wednesday/Thursday) working in the office.
  • Being relied upon by clients and colleagues may require working evenings or weekends to meet client and project deadlines.
