As an Advertising Compliance Specialist, you will provide a full range of compliance oversight, advice, and services with specialized knowledge to support the business. Your focus will be on ensuring regulatory compliance with state and marketing standards. You will collaborate across departments, including product development, marketing, and operations, reporting to the Business Systems Senior Manager.

Position Compensation Range: $61,000.00 - $101,000.00

Pay Rate Type: Salary

Compensation may vary based on job level and geographic location. Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates.

Primary Accountabilities

1. Ensure operational processes, systems, and controls are compliant with state regulations.
2. Review and interpret legislative and regulatory changes and assess their impact on the business.
3. Provide guidance on legislative and regulatory changes to assist with sales, claims, or product development.
4. Collaborate with various business units across the organization.
5. Define business requirements for compliance-related projects.
6. Work with technical teams to interpret requirements and review project outputs for quality.
7. Document compliance management activities, including business directions, requirements, milestones, and post-production validation.
8. Serve as a subject matter expert on products, services, or sales processes and systems.
9. Respond to inquiries from NAIC and insurance departments, performing audits and compliance projects, and report on project status.

Knowledge & Skills Requirements

• Experience providing customer-driven solutions and support.
• Strong knowledge of advertising compliance guidelines, laws, and procedures.
• Experience with rate and form filings as required.
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate persuasively across functions.
• Knowledge of audit techniques and tools.
• Understanding of insurance products, pricing, and regulatory environment.
• Experience with regulatory research and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of insurance contract language and compliance specifics.
