Carolina Sports Preparatory Academy, Inc. is seeking a dynamic and engaging Football Game Day Announcer to join our team. This role is essential in enhancing the game day experience for fans by providing live commentary and updates throughout the event.

Responsibilities

• Provide live announcements during football games, including player introductions, scoring plays, timeouts, and penalties.
• Operate music and sound effects to energize the crowd during pre-game, in-game breaks, and post-game.
• Follow a game-day script to ensure announcements and music align with the flow of play.
• Maintain professionalism and enthusiasm while engaging the audience.
• Coordinate with game officials, coaches, and event staff to ensure accurate and timely announcements.
• Ensure all announcements and music selections are family-friendly, respectful, and aligned with the school’s values.
• Assist with set-up and testing of sound equipment before the game and proper shutdown afterward.

Qualifications and skills

• Basic comfort with using sound equipment and speaking on a microphone.
• Ability to stay focused and organized in a fast-paced, live-event environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings/weekends as scheduled for home games.
• Positive attitude and enthusiasm for sports and fan engagement.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
