Veronica Beard is hiring: Digital Designer, Social & Content in New York

Overview:

Veronica Beard is seeking a Digital Designer, Social & Content with a passion for fashion, culture, and digital storytelling to concept and create compelling, high-performing content across social platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook, and more. This role is rooted in motion-first design, with a strong focus on video editing, type animation, and content creation that drives engagement and brand awareness. This role is based in our New York office and reports directly to the Senior Director, Brand Creative.

Responsibilities:

• Design and animate social-first assets including Instagram Reels, TikToks, Stories, static posts, Pinterest graphics, and more
• Edit short-form video content using Premiere Pro and After Effects with a strong sense of pace, storytelling, and typography
• Collaborate closely with the creative and marketing teams to develop strategic and culturally relevant content that supports seasonal launches, campaigns, and brand storytelling
• Partner with the Senior Director, Brand Creative to translate broader brand campaigns into engaging content for social media
• Support content creation on-set and behind the scenes—including swipe pulling, casting references, and general pre-and post-production support
• Stay ahead of platform trends, aesthetic shifts, and emerging tools to keep Veronica Beard’s social presence innovative and on-brand

Requirements:

• 4+ years of design experience in a related field (fashion/luxury a plus)
• Strong portfolio of digital design work with a focus on social content and motion graphics
• Eye for design, clean + sophisticated aesthetic, and strong interest in fashion
• Expert-level skills in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Proven experience in type animation and video editing for social platforms
• Experience shooting content on iPhone and other mediums (DSLR, camcorder, etc.)
• Innovative thinker always seeking to grow and push brand direction forward
• Deep understanding of social media trends, visual culture, and storytelling best practices
• Takes initiative and understands no task is too small
• Excellent interpersonal, time & project management, and communication skills
• Ability to work calmly under pressure, and meet tight deadlines with a strong sense of accountability
• Collaborative, nimble, and excited to be hands-on across a fast-moving, highly visual brand
• Founder-Led brand experience is a plus

The salary range for this role is between $70,000 and $80,000. The relevant salary range will vary depending on wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training, degrees, and certifications. The salary range is just one component of our total compensation offerings, which consist of a comprehensive benefits package as well as a short-term incentive program, clothing allowance, and merchandise discounts.
