You will work directly with the founders, shape our brand voice, and have real creative freedom to pitch, produce, and grow into leading campaigns. We offer competitive pay, performance bonuses or sales commission, and employee stock options based on performance results. We are entry level friendly - recent grads with strong portfolios or creator work are welcome. If you want big growth potential and a chance to build something meaningful, come join us.
Job Responsibilities:
- Partner directly with the founders and creative team to own the full content lifecycle: strategy, ideation, storyboarding, shooting, editing, publishing, and reporting across TikTok, Instagram/Reels, YouTube/Shorts, LinkedIn, X, and Facebook.
- Concept and produce social-first video (organic + paid): write hooks/scripts, capture raw footage (mobile/DSLR), record audio, edit, add graphics/captions, and deliver platform-optimized assets (9:16 / 1:1 / 16:9; correct frame rates/codecs).
- Maintain brand consistency: uphold voice, visual identity, and accessibility best practices; develop and evolve social video guidelines with the brand team.
- Direct production end-to-end: pre-production (shot lists, scripts, releases, locations/schedules), on-set direction (camera, audio, lighting), and post (color, sound, subtitles, thumbnails, exports).
- Lead UGC & creator ops: identify/brief internal, freelance, and UGC creators; secure usage rights; coordinate collabs/duets/stitches; manage deliverables and timelines.
- Act like an agile newsroom: spot trends early, turn them into brand-right creative quickly, and jump on timely travel moments with AP-clean captions.
- Own the content calendar: align posts to campaigns, product/route milestones, and cultural moments; repurpose assets for email/SMS and web.
- Run weekly experiments: A/B test hooks, formats, thumbnails, and lengths; share clear insights and next actions tied to KPIs.
- Measure what matters: use native analytics + GA4/UTMs to track watch time, saves/shares, ER%, CTR, referral lift, and cost per signup; translate findings into roadmap updates.
- Collaborate cross-functionally (product, ops, support/comms) to ensure content supports business goals; manage creative workflows for efficiency.
- Capture content at events/activations (airport/campus pop-ups, shoots); occasional evenings/weekends and light travel as needed.
- Use AI/LLMs to speed ideation, scripting, rough cuts, and copy variants—while protecting accuracy and brand voice.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years developing and publishing content for digital/social (Instagram/TikTok required) with proven end-to-end delivery from concept to final asset with measurable results (portfolio w/ metrics).
- Real audience or reach: 50k+ combined followers or proven reach (95th-percentile watch time, consistent viral posts with strong ER).
- BA/BS preferred in Journalism, Communications, Marketing/Media, Design, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Interest in travel + tech: curiosity about algorithms/AI tools to speed workflows.
- Excellent writer and storyteller with superior news judgment; impeccable grammar/copy-editing and AP style fundamentals.
- Video-first skillset: hands-on capture (mobile + DSLR), on-set direction, and strong editing in CapCut and/or Adobe Premiere (After Effects/Photoshop/Illustrator a plus); Canva/Figma familiarity.
- Deep knowledge of platform best practices (features, specs, algorithms) for TikTok, Instagram/Reels, YouTube/Shorts, LinkedIn/X and basic scheduling/live tools.
- Comfortable balancing business goals with creative vision: can prioritize, move fast with lean resources, and keep quality high.
- UGC production best practices and creator/influencer collaboration experience (briefs, rights, deliverables, attribution).
- Analytics & testing: GA4 + UTMs; able to design simple experiments and turn data into actionable next steps.
- Organizational excellence: content calendar ownership, reliable project management, and the ability to juggle multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
- Creative, curious, and trend-savvy: brings fresh ideas proactively and iterates based on performance.
- Bonus skills (optional): CMS (Webflow/WordPress), email/SMS (Klaviyo/Mailchimp), YouTube monetization know-how, basic understanding of CTV, accessibility awareness, and working knowledge of AI/LLMs.
