The company operates over 65,000 square feet of engineering and manufacturing space equipped with 10 presses up to 1500 tons and multiple build areas. Located in Grand Rapids, MI, Die-Matic ensures high operational standards with a QS compliant manufacturing system.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Designer located in Grand Rapids, MI. The Designer will work on creating and refining die designs using CAD software. Day-to-day tasks include developing technical drawings, collaborating with the engineering team to ensure designs meet manufacturing capabilities, and conducting quality checks to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD software and technical drawing skills
• Experience with die design and manufacturing processes
• Strong attention to detail and quality assurance skills
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Previous experience in the automotive, appliance, or consumer products industries is a plus
