Social Media & Influencer Marketing Manager

*Must live in the TRI-STATE Area*

Job Summary:

Topix Skin Health is seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media & Influencer Marketing Manager to lead the social media strategy and influencer marketing efforts for our DERMA E and thinksun brands. The ideal candidate will have a passion for beauty and skincare, a deep understanding of social media trends, and a proven track record of building brand awareness through influencer partnerships and innovative digital marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Social Media Management:

  • In conjunction with the Sr. Manager:

o develop, implement, and manage social media strategies across multiple platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Pinterest, etc.) for DERMA E and thinksun.

o Create and curate engaging, on-brand content (posts, stories, videos, etc.) that resonates with the target audience and drives engagement.

  • Manage the thinksun content calendars to ensure timely execution of campaigns, promotions, and product launches.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance metrics (KPIs) for thinksun such as follower growth, engagement rates, website traffic, and conversions.
  • Stay up-to-date with social media trends, platform changes, and industry best practices to ensure the company’s strategy remains cutting-edge.

2. Influencer Marketing & Partnerships:

  • Manage box sends & gifting strategy for all influencers for DERMA E & thinksun
  • Track KPIs and monitor social response for gifting/box sends
  • Facilitate working with warehouse on timely send outs

3. Content Strategy & Creative Direction:

  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop visually compelling, high-quality content that aligns with brand aesthetics and messaging.
  • Coordinate photo and video shoots for social media, ensuring all content highlights product features and skincare benefits.
  • Develop social-first campaigns that drive awareness, education, and sales conversions.

4. Community Management & Engagement:

  • Manage the community manager consultants to:

o Foster an engaged and loyal online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and personable manner.

o Monitor customer sentiment, feedback, and reviews on social media, providing insights to internal teams to improve the customer experience.

o Organize and manage online events, giveaways, and collaborations that generate excitement and increase brand visibility.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the marketing, e-commerce, and product teams to ensure social media strategies align with broader marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with teams to integrate influencer and organic content into advertising campaigns.
  • Support key retail partnerships by developing social media content and influencer activations that drive traffic and sales.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in social media and influencer marketing, preferably in the beauty or skincare industry.
  • Strong understanding of the social media landscape, including platform-specific trends, best practices, and analytics tools.
  • Proven experience managing multiple social media accounts and developing cross-platform strategies for different brands.
  • Established network of influencer contacts in the beauty/skincare space.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and adapt to changing trends quickly.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. Self-starter, comfortable in an evolving, fast-paced office environment
  • Experience using social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Later) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Sprout Social).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
