Job Summary / Description :

WOWT seeks a multi-media journalist passionate about news, especially breaking and investigative stories. The MMJ will shoot, write, and edit content for broadcast and online platforms.

Duties / Responsibilities include :

1. Reporting
2. Shooting video as needed
3. Writing and editing
4. Posting stories online
5. Managing station social media content
6. Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications / Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in communication, journalism, or related field
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Energetic, competitive, self-starter
• Strong writing skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize, and multitask
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
