Adjunct Instructor Department of English and World Languages and Literature

The Department of English and World Languages and Literatures at Manhattan University seeks adjunct faculty to teach courses this fall and spring.

Courses for which we seek instructors

  • First Year Composition
  • Business Communication

Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare syllabus for the course, provide instructional content for the assigned courses.
  2. Ensure active participation and engagement of students.
  3. Support a diverse and inclusive learning environment.
  4. Adhere to the college's mission and values, submit grades on time and otherwise comply with related requests from the chair.

Qualifications:

Successful applicant will have at least a master’s degree and ideally a doctorate in the appropriate discipline.

Salary Range:

  • Assistant Professor $1526.25 per credit
