Reports To:Sr. Director of IC Programs and Marketing

Company Overview:Riverdale Travel and Genie Travel Company are industry leaders in leisure and corporate travel, operating with a hybrid model that includes B2B services for Independent Contractors and B2C promotions for direct consumers. We manage multiple travel brands including Allied Air, Riverdale Travel (Vacation & Corporate), and Genie Travel Company.

Position Summary:We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive Marketing Coordinator to support ongoing marketing communication strategies across multiple brands and channels. This in-office role requires a self-starter who takes initiative, anticipates needs, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and executing B2B and B2C marketing initiatives and ensuring consistent brand messaging across all platforms. The ideal candidate demonstrates ownership of tasks, contributes creative solutions, and actively drives projects forward with minimal oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Execution:

• Coordinate and deploy marketing communications for Independent Contractors (ICs) across all affiliated brands.
• Develop and schedule email campaigns, social media content, and promotional collateral targeting both IC audiences and direct consumers.
• Assist with the execution of consumer-facing marketing campaigns including partner of the month, travel deals, blog posts, offers, and calls to action.
• Maintain an editorial calendar to ensure timely and relevant content across platforms.

B2B and Independent Contractor Support:

• Create toolkits, flyers, and digital marketing assets for ICs to use in their own marketing efforts.
• Serve as a liaison between marketing and ICs to support their individual business growth through shared resources.

Consumer Marketing:

• Collaborate with team members to promote travel deals to B2C audiences via newsletters, website content, and social media.
• Track performance of marketing efforts and report on engagement metrics.
• Support timely invoicing and tracking of supplier co-op marketing contributions.
• Assist with the documentation and proof of performance required by suppliers for reimbursement.

Administrative & Cross-Functional Support:

• Assist with marketing-related project management, including vendor coordination, approvals, and asset management.
• Ensure brand consistency and compliance across all materials and messaging.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in a marketing or communications role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in tools like Mailchimp/Constant Contact, Canva, Microsoft Office, and social media platforms.
• Experience in the travel industry or working with Independent Contractors a plus.
• This is a full-time, in-office position located in Coon Rapids, MN.
• Occasional participation in supplier meetings, travel events, or trade shows may be required.
