Are you a detail-oriented, proactive marketer who thrives on event planning and client engagement? Do you love seeing your work translate into packed events and engaged clients? Grimes Financial Group is looking for a Marketing & Seminar Coordinator to take charge of our event marketing, client outreach, and engagement strategies.

This is a dynamic, client-focused role where you’ll help ensure our client appreciation and referral events are a success. You’ll oversee event marketing, manage email campaigns, and assist with attendance strategies—all while working with a supportive and growth-minded team.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Event Marketing & Coordination

• Oversee the planning and execution of in-house seminars and client events

• Manage RSVP lists, send follow-ups, and ensure strong attendance

• Utilize email campaigns, personal invitations, and warm prospect follow-ups to fill events

• Collaborate with leadership on event topics, scheduling, and logistics

• Occasionally assist with warm client outreach via phone or email when needed to drive attendance

• Attend and experience the upscale events you’ve helped organize—ensuring everything runs smoothly

(Note: These events are held at high-end restaurants throughout Columbus. When weeks include two events, you’ll typically have Friday off.)

• Manage a biweekly email newsletter to keep clients engaged

• While not required, familiarity with tools like Constant Contact or Canva would be beneficial in case small updates are needed to existing materials—but design work is not a core expectation of this role

• Monitor event attendance trends and suggest strategies to maximize turnout
