What’s the position?

We are seeking a detail-oriented Media Buying Coordinator to join our performance marketing team and work hands on, with our media AORs. Working with the Sr Manager, Media Buying to support the execution of our marketing campaigns across TV, radio, OOH (out-of-home), and direct mail advertising. This role is perfect for someone passionate about traditional media with strong analytical skills and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have foundational experience in media buying, excellent comprehension of audience measurement metrics, and the ability to interpret complex media flow charts and campaign documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Media Buying & Coordination

  • Assist in planning and executing linear TV buys across broadcast and cable networks

  • Review linear TV buy summaries, flowcharts, and post-campaign analysis reports

  • Track programming changes, preemptions, and make-goods across TV properties

  • Coordinate with AOR for creative delivery and scheduling requirements

  • Support radio buying process across AM/FM stations and radio networks

    • Coordinate daypart planning and ensure optimal frequency distribution across target demographics

  • Coordinate live read scripts and promotional tie-ins with radio stations

Out-of-Home (OOH) & Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) Coordination

  • Assist in traditional billboard, transit, and outdoor advertising campaign execution

  • Support site selection process using traffic patterns, demographic data, and reach estimates

  • Manage OOH creative trafficking and ensure proper installation and monitoring

  • Track OOH campaign delivery through photo verification and monitoring systems

  • Coordinate with AOR and creative team for production timelines and installation schedules

Flow Chart Interpretation & Campaign Documentation

  • Read and interpret complex media flow charts and campaign planning documents

  • Maintain detailed buy sheets and campaign execution timelines

  • Maintain accurate campaign spend documentation and ensure spends are properly passed to internal data warehouses

  • Ensure flow chart accuracy and adherence to campaign objectives and budgets

Administrative & Coordination Support

  • Coordinate with AOR and internal teams for campaign execution

  • Manage campaign timelines and ensure all deliverables meet established deadlines

  • Support budget management and spend reporting processes

Assist with RFP responses and vendor proposal evaluations


What are we looking for?

Traditional Media Experience

  • 1-3 years of experience in traditional media buying, planning, or coordination

  • Hands-on experience with linear television buying processes and network coordination

  • Working knowledge of terrestrial radio buying and daypart optimization

  • Experience with out-of-home (OOH) and digital out-of-home (DOOH) campaign coordination

  • Understanding of traditional media trafficking and creative delivery processes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or related field

  • Experience with media buying platform Strata

  • Knowledge of media research tools (Nielsen, Comscore, MRI, SRDS)
