Summary of Job Purpose and Function
The Client Service Coordinator ("CSC") manages client and pet flow through the hospital, maximizes the veterinary team’s productivity, ensures effective communication with clients and associates, and coordinates care in a friendly, welcoming, and efficient manner to encourage return visits and referrals.
Essential Responsibilities and Tasks
- Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.
- Actively recruit new clients by promoting hospital services and managing client flow for optimal care and team productivity.
- Maximize the number of pets seen by the hospital team through efficient operations supporting wellness plans.
- Provide professional, efficient, and exceptional service, including welcoming clients and pets, ensuring comfort, and educating about pet health.
- Educate clients on wellness plans, preventative care, pet health needs, and hospital services.
- Assist incoming clients with documentation, pet information entry, and prompt service.
- Assist outgoing clients with instructions, invoices, prescriptions, retail sales, and appointment scheduling.
- Manage finances with accurate balances and proper procedures.
- Perform administrative duties as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

Experience and Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- At least 18 years old for radiography duties.
- One year customer service experience preferred.
- Medical background and terminology training preferred.
