Part-Time Communications & Public Relations Specialist

The Hertrich Family of Automobile Dealerships is seeking a Part-Time Communications & PR Specialist to help us elevate our brand voice, strengthen community relationships, and bring our legacy to life through thoughtful, strategic communication.

What You'll Do

In this part-time role, you'll help us connect with our audiences by:

  • Creating and executing smart, authentic communications strategies that reflect our brand and values
  • Writing compelling content-from press releases and internal newsletters to community spotlights and social media posts
  • Supporting local events, sponsorships, and outreach efforts that deepen our community ties
  • Building relationships with media, nonprofits, and local leaders
  • Ensuring our message is consistent and intentional across every platform
  • Helping us tell our story-with care, purpose, and impact

Who You Are

You bring both creativity and clarity to your work. You're someone who sees the big picture but cares deeply about the details. You're a communicator with:

  • 2+ years of experience in PR, communications, or journalism
  • A degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills
  • Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Office and basic design platforms (Adobe Creative Suite a plus)
  • A valid driver's license and professional reliability
  • An appreciation for the automotive space, even if you're new to it
