Position Overview

Public Radio East is seeking qualified students to assist with communication and marketing. To qualify, students must be enrolled at Craven Community College and eligible for Financial Aid.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone lines and transfer calls
• Update PRE's website news
• Create copy for social media, news, and events
• Monitor and update event calendars
• Represent PRE at events
• Support staff in daily tasks as needed
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

Student must meet Federal Work Study eligibility requirements and any academic department requirements. Availability on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10 AM to 2 PM.

Skills and Abilities

Relevant work experience or coursework, GPA requirements, and ability to work independently. Experience with social media platforms is preferred.
