Westminster Christian Academy is accepting applications for a Visual Arts Teacher for the 2026-27 school year. We seek individuals passionate about the visual arts, committed to excellence, caring deeply about students, and willing to develop healthy, nurturing relationships inside and outside the classroom.

Founded in 1976, Westminster Christian Academy is an independent, coeducational school offering a comprehensive college preparatory program for 970 students in grades 7-12. Located in suburban St. Louis County, Missouri, on a 70-acre campus, 20 minutes from downtown St. Louis.

Our mission is to honor Jesus Christ by providing excellent education rooted in biblical truth as interpreted by the Westminster Confession of Faith. Faculty and staff help students discover and embrace a biblical worldview and integrate it into every aspect of life.

Qualifications

• A personal saving relationship with Jesus Christ
• Membership or faithful attendance at an approved Protestant church
• Interest and ability in the visual arts
• Good visual and verbal communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with a lead teacher to implement lesson plans
• Strong classroom management skills

Applicants must also have:

• Two professional references submit our Faculty Candidate Evaluation
• One Pastor Reference
