Description

We are seeking a Technical Writer who will be responsible for the preparation, review, revision, and maintenance of technical documents including software and systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation.

• Write, edit, and maintain technical documentation, user guides, manuals, and reports for complex programs and systems
• Gather, research, and organize highly technical information from engineers, SMEs, and multiple sources into clear, usable content
• Collaborate with developers to produce documentation and training materials that meet quality and compliance standards (NSA DS-89)
• Coordinate document layout, design, and publication across all phases of the documentation lifecycle
• Interpret engineering drawings, operational procedures, and technical data to produce accurate and comprehensive materials
• Lead or oversee documentation projects, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to established standards
  
  

Clearance

A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.

Experience

Eight (8) years experience as a TW in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.. Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. A Master’s degree may be substituted for two (2) years of experience, reducing the requirement to six (6) years of experience. Four (4) years of additional TW experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Erias Ventures provides a complete package of wealth, health, and happiness benefits. The expected salary range for this position, depending on education and years of experience is $175,000 - $195,000.
