Position Summary: This individual will manage the marketing aspects for a Commercial Lines team. They will be responsible for understanding the market and carrier appetite for S&S business, marketing new and renewal business with approved carriers and wholesalers to negotiate the best terms, conditions, and rates for clients. This role adheres strictly to our Corporate Standards of Excellence and procedural guidelines.

Essential Job Functions:

• Market new and renewal business.
• Check quotes against applications and make necessary adjustments.
• Display knowledge of carriers’ insurance products.
• Manage ImageRight to-do lists and attach pertinent documents.
• Assist Account Executives and Managers as needed.
• Understand binding authority for each carrier.
• Attend expiration meetings.
• Guide on coverage, forms, and educate team members.
• Use online carrier rating tools as needed.
• Participate in professional education courses.

Requirements:

• Producer license is mandatory.
• Preferred: CPCU, AAI, CIC, or AIS designations.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience at an insurance agency.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel.
• Ability to sit for extended periods and traverse the office.
• Ability to lift at least five pounds.
• Proficient with computers and multiple monitors.
