Job Description
The Director, LBCL Provider Access Marketing report s to the Head of US Provider Access Strategy & Marketing and is responsible for developing Kite’s US provider access strategy for LBCL ( Yescarta ) along with supporting tools and resources. This individual will partner closely with the K ey A ccount D irector (KAD) organization to delineate strategic priorities and tactical initiatives to support improved provider access to Kite’s LBCL products. As a member of the US Provider Access Strategy & Marketing team, this individual will partner with other members of the team, as well as cross-functional partners across Kite’s US business, to address barriers and obstacles to access across current and future ATCs, as well as potential referral centers. This individual may also support the broader US Market Access organization in the development of marketing materials and other resources to broaden awareness and use of Kite Konnect and other Kite-provided services. This position is based in our Santa Monica, CA headquarters.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of provider access marketing strategy for the LBCL franchise, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and broader US Market Access goals
Serve as the P rovider A ccess lead on the LBCL B rand T eam, representing provider needs and access considerations in cross-functional planning
Collaborate with the Head of Provider Access Strategy & Marketing to ensure consistency and scalability of provider-facing initiatives across the portfolio
Provider Enablement & Resource Development
Develop and maintain provider-facing materials for the KAD organization and other relevant customer-facing teams to support onboarding, reimbursement education , and operational readiness for LBCL CAR-T therapies
Create and refine tools, training, and resources to support provider education on site economics, referral pathways, and access logistics
Partner with Field Sales, CTAMs, and KADs to ensure effective pull-through of provider access resources
Onboarding & Expansion Support
Support the expansion of Authorized Treatment Centers (ATCs) for LBCL by developing scalable onboarding content and collaborating with onboarding leads
Identify and address operational barriers to provider readiness and sustainability in both academic and community settings
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with Medical Affairs, HEOR, Patient Services, and Trade/Contracting to ensure provider-facing strategies are integrated and compliant
Partner with the Payer Strategy team to align provider messaging with payer access and reimbursement strategies
Market Insights & Analytics
Gather and synthesize provider insights, including feedback from ATCs and community oncology practices, to inform strategy and resource development
Monitor provider trends, referral patterns, and access barriers specific to the LBCL treatment landscape
Stakeholder Engagement & Advocacy
Represent the LBCL franchise in provider forums, advisory boards, and external engagements to advocate for access and operational excellence
Support engagement with key provider stakeholders, including IDNs, GPOs, and community oncology networks, to drive awareness and adoption of LBCL CAR-T therapies
Basic Qualifications
Advanced scientific degree (i.e., MD, PharmD, PhD) and 8 + years of experience OR
Master’s Degree and 1 0 + years of experience OR
Bachelor’s Degree and 1 2 + years of experience OR
Preferred Qualifications
1 0 + years of pharmaceutical or biotech experience in market access , pricing, policy, and/or relevant commercial roles
Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence decision making, strategy, and execution across partners and functions
Demonstrated high levels of emotional intelligence, situational awareness, ability to build and influence positive culture across teams
Deep strategic experience leading change-based initiatives, home office functional teams, and/or marketing & strategy projects
Deep understanding of the reimbursement landscape for CAR-T and the unique aspects of single case agreements, network requirements, etc.
Experience developing processes that accommodate the operational differences between hospital systems and community centers
Strong l eadership s kills, proven ability to execute additional roles beyond core responsibilities
Strong understanding of US cell therapy coverage and reimbursement and demonstrated ability to successfully address customer questions
Understanding of healthcare regulations, pricing protections, and legal compliance
Robust project management skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize clear deliverables across multiple customers in tight timelines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
