We are working on a freelance (full time hour role) with a top fashion company in NYC. Looking for an asst technical designer working on intimate apparel. Hybrid role in their midtown office. 3+ months to start but could be extended. You will aid designers in achieving desired point of view of garments when creating technical packages and evaluating garments for fit and construction.
Responsibilities:
Represent the Company interest of universal and consistent fit and proper construction Assist Tech Designer with daily tasks Sit in/ assist on fit sessions Assist Tech Designer to create/ write/ update reports. Measuring samples against required specs, reporting results Communicate with Designers/factories/ vendors Maintain written reports, records and samples Update patterns for sending to factories Required Qualifications:
Able to work in a hybrid environment, which may/will require working in person/in-office for a portion or all of a week based on the needs of the business In person/in-office collaboration may be required for work centralized around product development, milestone meetings, fittings, and approvals +1 years of experience Experience in technical design Intimates experience a plus If you meet the required qualifications and are interested in this role, please apply today.
