Job Summary: The Technical Writer provides comprehensive writing and editorial support to PFPA divisions. This position develops, edits, and standardizes technical documentation including operating procedures, reports, manuals, and briefings. The Technical Writer ensures clear, consistent, and compliant communication across all programmatic and administrative outputs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and revise standard operating procedures (SOPs), technical documents, and policies.
• Translate complex technical content into accessible language.
• Support internal and external communication needs through presentations, white papers, and policy memos.
• Maintain a consistent editorial style and document format across PFPA materials.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to verify accuracy and completeness.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience writing or editing technical or policy documentation.
• Strong grammar, editing, and layout skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and document management systems.
• Active Secret clearance
