Proposal Writer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and persuasive Proposal Writer to join our team. The Proposal Writer will be responsible for crafting high-quality proposals and RFP (Request for Proposal) responses that highlight our capabilities, services, and competitive advantages. This role plays a key part in winning new business and maintaining long-term client relationships by creating compelling, customized documents that align with each prospect's needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help maintain sales databases, register our company with large employers, write technical procedures for the company when not working on large technical bids.
  • Analyze RFPs, RFQs, and bid documents to determine submission requirements and strategic approach.
  • Write clear, concise, and persuasive content for proposals, bids, and other sales documents.
  • Collaborate with sales, operations, and management teams to gather accurate technical and service information.
  • Customize boilerplate content and ensure proposal consistency in style, format, tone, and messaging.
  • Develop executive summaries, scopes of work, pricing justifications, and service delivery models.
  • Manage proposal schedules, deadlines, and compliance checklists.
  • Maintain a library of templates, past proposals, resumes, and standard content for reuse.
  • Support marketing and business development initiatives with written content (e.g., case studies, capability statements).

Ensure all proposals are aligned with EC standards and present a professional, polished image.

Qualifications:

  • Technical writing skills.
  • Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field (preferred).
  • Experience in proposal writing, ideally in B2B or service industries (experience in janitorial or facilities services is a plus).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with Adobe Acrobat and proposal tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Competitive salary and commissions program: Starting salary based on industry experience, education, and other relevant qualifications. Earnings expectations $75,000+ annually.
