What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead the health practice to achieve strategic growth and market distinction
- Serve as a strategic partner to clients, directing high-impact programs to meet business goals
- Build and nurture long-term client relationships while growing business through leadership and strategic guidance
- Generate organic revenue within existing clients by providing strategic recommendations
- Mentor and develop staff, ensuring high-quality work for clients
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum 10 years of experience in communications, ideally both agency and in-house
- Extensive experience leading strategic communication strategies in healthcare, medtech, health systems, pharma, and/or life sciences
- Demonstrated experience in new business efforts, including outreach, proposal development, and pitching
- Business acumen in budgeting, billing, and staffing
- Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Strong experience in pharma, biotech, and/or life sciences
- Innovative thinker with a track record of translating strategic thinking into actionable plans
- Experience providing communications counsel to executives and senior marketers
- Proven ability to deliver standout creative communications campaigns in regulated markets
- Experience in setting up measurement programs and assessing the ROI of communications activities
