UI Developer - 1 year remote contract (742327) at Professional Search of the Carolinas, Raleigh, NC. W-2 Rate up to $60/hour.

We are seeking an experienced Developer to assist with a migration project from RichFaces 3.3 to modern UI technologies.

Objectives:

1. Modernization: Replace RichFaces 3.3 components with modern UI technologies to enhance user experience, improve application performance, and align with current industry standards.
2. Compatibility and Support: Ensure compatibility with current and future Java versions and frameworks, with ongoing community support for maintained technologies.
3. Security and Compliance: Address security vulnerabilities of outdated technologies and ensure compliance with organizational security standards and regulations.

To execute this migration, we are hiring three positions. Qualifications include:

• Experience migrating from RichFaces 3.3 environment.
• Proficiency in Java, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience in UI/UX design principles, responsive design, and usability testing.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
