Romantic Beauty Cosmetics is hiring: Junior Graphic Designer in Los Angeles

We are a fast-growing cosmetics importer with two in-house brands, specializing in high-quality, exceptional value cosmetics and skincare. Our products are carried by major discount retailers including TJ Maxx and other mass-market chains. With over 200 SKUs and a rapid launch cycle, we combine speed, agility, and creativity to bring affordable beauty to customers worldwide. Our mission is to empower individuals to express their unique beauty through diverse, accessible products that inspire confidence and celebrate individuality.

The Role

We’re seeking a Junior Graphic Designer to join our team on a contract basis (3–6 months, with opportunity to transition to full time). In this role, you’ll support both product development and marketing creative, playing a key part in shaping how our products look and feel on shelves and online. You’ll work closely with our lead product designer to deliver packaging, promotional content, and digital assets that resonate with our customers. This is a hands-on role where your designs will move quickly from concept to execution—often landing in weeks.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with product development to create visually striking packaging designs and artwork that reflect our brand identity.
• Design compelling marketing materials including digital ads, social media graphics, email campaigns, and promotional assets.
• Generate creative ideas for product concepts, packaging, and campaigns aligned with beauty/CPG trends.
• Maintain brand consistency across all visual assets while experimenting with fresh, innovative design approaches.
• Prepare product listings and images for e-commerce and wholesale distribution.
• Assist the lead designer with end-to-end design-to-production workflows.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree or current Junior/Senior in Graphic Design or related field.
• Proven design experience with a portfolio showing creativity in print and digital formats.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Canva) and related design tools.
• Strong sense of typography, color theory, and visual composition.
• Interest in cosmetics, beauty, or consumer products is a plus.
• Excited to learn the full “soup-to-nuts” design process in beauty/CPG.
• Positive, flexible, and eager to thrive in a small but fast-paced team environment.
• Must be available to work on-site (Vernon, Los Angeles).
