Job Description

Responsibilities

  1. Engage with clients to understand their objectives and develop effective advertising campaigns.
  2. Generate new business through prospecting and cold calling.
  3. Sell digital advertising solutions tailored to client needs, including TV, online video, social media, and mobile marketing.
  4. Build relationships with key decision-makers.
  5. Create and present sales proposals, and close negotiations successfully.
  6. Participate in budgeting and forecasting.
  7. Enhance product and sales knowledge through ongoing training.
  8. Represent Cox Media at trade shows and industry events.

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least 4 years of sales/support or marketing experience
  • Ability to cold call and prospect in and out of market
  • Proven ability to develop new business and meet sales targets
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Motivated team player with goal-oriented mindset
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, advertising, or marketing
  • Understanding of marketing principles
  • Interactive Advertising Bureau Certification and/or Google AdWords Certification (a plus)
