I. Summary of the position:

We’re seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Specialist to elevate our brand presence across digital platforms for multiple entities within BRAVE Church. In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing content strategies that drive engagement, grow our audience, and support marketing goals for BRAVE Church. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to produce compelling posts, manage daily activity across channels, and analyze performance metrics to optimize future campaigns. The ideal candidate is fluent in social trends, passionate about storytelling, skilled in turning posts into actionable insights for BRAVE Church.

II. Experience and Knowledge Required:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Media, Marketing, or related field required.

· 1-3 years of professional experience managing social media accounts for a brand, organization, or agency required.

· Proven success in content creation, campaign execution,and audience engagement.

· Deep understanding of major social media platforms, and paid social advertising (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X).

· Proven experience in podcast distribution, radio promotion, and developing media content strategies with emerging digital trends.

· Demonstrated ability to capture and produce visual content through photography and videography, with working knowledge of graphic design software and digital content creation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut).

· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; strong command of written language with a sharp eye for grammar, tone, and clarity. Skilled in crafting compelling copy and editing content for various platforms and audiences.

· Highly organized and detail-oriented, proven ability to juggle multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously. Highly organized, with a knack for prioritizing tasks and delivering results in fast-paced environments.

· Strategic and creative thinker with a strong track record of executing high-impact digital initiatives.

· Willingness to work after hours or on weekends when needed.

· Strong work ethic, commitment to excellence.

III. Key Responsibilities:

· BRAVE Church (Multi-Campus & Ministries):

o Design and execute strategic social media campaigns that spotlight sermons, events, small groups, outreach efforts, and discipleship initiatives.

o Produce weekly content—including posts, reels, stories, and short-form videos—that inspires, informs, and fosters connection within the church community.

o Actively engage with the online audience by responding to comments, prayer requests, and direct messages in a timely and pastoral manner, with support from church leadership.

o Collaborate with pastors and ministry leaders to share powerful stories of transformation and promote opportunities for spiritual growth and involvement.

· BRAVE Academy (Classical Christian Education):

o Manage all social media channels and digital communications for BRAVE Academy, highlighting student life, academic excellence, and special events.

o Partner with faculty and staff to capture and curate compelling stories, photos, and videos that reflect the school’s mission and values.

o Ensure consistent branding and messaging across Academy platforms in alignment with BRAVE Church’s broader communication strategy.

· Pastor Jeff Ministries (Media Outreach):

o Lead the digital promotion of podcasts, livestreams, and other media initiatives to amplify the ministry’s reach and impact.

o Create engaging highlight clips, graphics, and promotional assets for social media distribution across local and global audiences.

o Develop and implement growth strategies to increase engagement and visibility across platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and podcast directories.

· Other duties as assigned.
