We are looking for a dynamic, hardworking,and creative Senior Editorial Producer to join our Fox News Sunday team. In this role you will have the opportunity to craft the most influentialand watched stories in all of broadcast and cable news.We are seekinga natural leader, a proven go-getter and someone who can rise to the occasion under the stressful demands of a weekly newsmaker show.As the Senior Editorial Producer, you have excellent editorial judgment, can craft compelling call for elements for guest segments, summarize the guest’s positions on key topics and offer opposing viewpoints for research, specifically to counter the guest’s talking points in previous interviews/speeches/news conferences. A key focus on politics and political news is a must.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Participate in editorial decisions for content for the show – day of and future
Oversee research packets and facts up to the day of air
Identify and recognize stories with high potential for compelling television
Help set the editorial and production standards and provide leadership among show producers
React to breaking news, ensuring that the right content is getting on the air in the right order
Work hands on with the talent making sure they are receiving the necessary research and elements needed to ensure the best show on a daily basis
Participate in weekly ratings analysis - keeping track of guests/timing structures that maximize ratings output
Ability to support the team in the control room during live broadcast and filling in for the line producer as needed.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
At least 5 years of newsroom experience and producing/line producing a television newscast
Excellent organizational and managerial skills as well as the ability to create an environment that fosters team work
Decisive and skilled management ina control room is required
Must be prepared to travel
You must be detail oriented and able to work under pressure as well as meet multiple deadlines
Knowledge and passion for current events,politics,and culturalstoriesshaping the national conversationis essential
Exceptional editorial skills: Ability to recognize stories with high potential for compelling television
Proven track record of leadership and newscast ratings growth
Must work weekends

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $128,000.00-140,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
