Overview
The Credit Analyst supports Senior and Staff Credit Officers by analyzing the financial needs of existing and prospective borrowers. Responsibilities include preparing credit memoranda, providing insights and recommendations, and determining the appropriate authority level for each transaction. The role involves analyzing financial statements, industry trends, and market conditions to make sound credit decisions, while ensuring compliance with federal regulations and bank policies, and maintaining accurate credit documentation.
Qualifications
- Analyze and structure credit requests for new and existing borrowers within established standards and timelines.
- Prepare detailed credit memoranda (CAM) with relevant attachments, identifying credit risks and offering recommendations.
- Review and validate financial data, calculations, and terms in CAMs.
- Assist in reviewing and signing off on all term sheets and daily overdraft and ACH requests.
- Prepare materials for Management and Board of Directors Credit Committees.
- Monitor delinquency and covenant compliance monthly for assigned portfolios.
- Support the review and sign-off of closing exceptions and documentation with the Closing Department.
- Maintain up-to-date portfolio data and statistics, ensure compliance with review schedules, and assist in reports and presentations.

Educational and Experience Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of two years of relevant experience, including financial statement analysis, modeling, and projections, preferably in financial services.
