Job Description:

This opportunity provides students with theater and event production experience in a professional and educational setting. Students will assist with plays in our theater program and possibly other events such as meetings, concerts, and dance performances, involving internal and external clients. Responsibilities include setup and strike, moving equipment during productions, and assisting with audio, lighting, and stage management. Students may serve as part of the run crew, assisting with set and prop construction, wardrobe changes, and operating lighting and audio boards.

Ideal candidates are students in Creative Arts degree programs or have previous theater experience from high school or community theater.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Maintain 6 credit hours each semester
  • Maintain satisfactory academic progress
  • Adhere to college’s confidentiality policy
  • Successfully pass background and drug screening
  • Support auxiliary or retail services
  • Be familiar with college/campus locations
  • Work with specialized equipment as designated
  • Maintain consistent scheduling availability
  • Other duties as assigned
