This role offers ownership of the user experience from discovery to delivery, requiring creativity, strategic thinking, and design excellence. You’ll collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders across continents, leveraging research-driven insights to simplify complex workflows. This is a hybrid role (near Columbus, OH or Pittsburgh, PA) or remote if located elsewhere.

As a Senior UI / UX Designer, you will:

• Lead Discovery Efforts:
• Conduct interviews and discovery sessions with stakeholders and users to uncover needs and pain points.
• Research industry best practices and competitors to inspire innovation.
• Gather feedback on designs to ensure solutions evolve with user needs.
• Partner with product managers to define user problems and shape the product roadmap.
• Map customer journeys and identify friction points to improve usability.
• Use analytics and behavioral data to optimize user flows and UX improvements.

• Deliver Compelling Design:
• Create user flows for complex systems that are simple and visually appealing.
• Advocate for great UX using design thinking.
• Manage projects from concept to launch: wireframes, prototypes, usability testing, and final designs.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure seamless implementation and scalable design systems.
• Conduct usability interviews and validate solutions with data-driven methods.
• Participate in designing new software and updates, bringing innovative ideas.
• Work with marketing to design digital touchpoints and optimize UX for marketing performance.

• Develop and Maintain UX Standards:
• Stay updated with the latest design tools and UX trends.
• Proactively advise stakeholders on design improvements and new tools.
• Create and maintain style guides for consistent design quality.
• Balance user needs with business goals to improve product adoption and retention.

Requirements for success include:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 4+ years in UI/UX design with a strong portfolio
• B2B design experience, simplifying complex requirements
• Proficiency in design tools (Figma, Sketch, Invision, Photoshop, Marvel, Overflow)
• Experience with user research and translating insights into designs
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Experience creating user journeys, service blueprints, and user flows
• Ability to manage multiple requests with attention to detail
• Comfort working cross-functionally with marketing teams
