Description:

We are looking for a highly-skilled mixed methods Experience Researcher to deliver actionable insights. As a member of our team, you will inform new and existing experiences, ensuring that our product solutions meet ***'s high quality bar. In this role, you will apply your qualitative and quantitative skill set to your own projects, and lead other researchers to inform large strategic initiatives. This is a senior role requiring a breadth of methodological and leadership experience.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead research across internal and external facing product experiences, ensuring these experiences drive value for our community and meet ***'s high standards.
  2. Conduct qualitative and quantitative studies within your focus area (e.g., ethnographic/field research, diary studies, surveys, concept testing, log analysis, statistical analysis, etc.).
  3. Collaborate closely with adjacent teams to identify new or foundational research questions, anticipating organizational needs and informing early decision-making.
  4. Work with product managers, designers, writers, and partner organizations to identify research goals and timelines.
  5. Communicate effectively with stakeholders across the company, including senior management.
  6. Assist with workshops and other cross-functional activities.
  7. Execute in a fast-paced environment with 8+ years of industry experience, using both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
  8. Experience in running statistical analyses (e.g., t-tests, correlation, etc.) and SQL queries.
  9. Experience working with research vendors and conducting primary and secondary research to inform strategy and generate product recommendations.
  10. A proven track record of delivering impactful insights within complex or technical problems.
  11. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  12. Ability to manage multiple priorities without sacrificing quality or deadlines.
  13. Experience conducting research in complex problem spaces such as customer service, enterprise solutions, or consumer products and/or hospitality.
  14. Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Sociology, Psychology, Anthropology, Cognitive Sciences, or equivalent practical experience.

Additional Skills:

  1. Experience with cross-cultural products and international research.
  2. Expertise in tools or methods for conducting accessibility research.
  3. Strong creative storytelling methods and/or workshop design skills.
