Are you ready to play a vital role in the daily operation of a dynamic automotive service environment? Michigan Recovery Services is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Service Writer to join our growing team at 3345 E Washington Rd, Saginaw, MI 48601.

About The Position

As a Service Writer, you’ll be the essential link between our customers, our shop team, and our shop manager. Your organizational skills and positive, can-do attitude will ensure that every client receives outstanding service and that operations flow smoothly. What You’ll Do

• Work closely with the shop manager, assisting with any tasks and duties as needed to keep the shop running efficiently.
• Manage service orders, coordinate workflow, and maintain clear communication with customers and staff.
• Oversee and ensure inventory accuracy—making certain the right parts are always on hand and accounted for.
• Keep the shop cleaned, organized, safe, and presentable at all times.
• Transport vehicles between buildings as needed, ensuring safe and timely transfers.
• Utilize Mitchell 1 software for all repair orders, inventory, and service management. (Familiarity with Mitchell 1 is a plus, but we will provide comprehensive training for the right candidate!)
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve systems, support team morale, and foster an environment of respect and excellence.
