We design and manufacture sensors for storage tanks, water metering, energy metering, gas monitoring, and asset management.

Our founders are experienced telecommunications engineers with over 200 years of combined experience in designing, optimizing, and performance engineering for various international wireless carriers. They identified the need for low power, cost-efficient sensors to collect data, create alerts, and predict necessary actions. We integrate these sensors with low power, wide area (LPWA) networking technologies to help clients reduce recurring costs associated with operating IoT sensor networks and connected devices.

We specialize in designing, deploying, optimizing, and supporting these networks. Whether an off-the-shelf or custom solution is required, we develop tailored solutions and deploy data on the most suitable cloud platform, including client-specific options.

Job Description

The Senior UX Designer will manage user experience and user interface design projects, collaborating with partners from requirements gathering through to production delivery. They will adhere to processes and standards set by the UX Design Team. This role involves coordination across multiple Verizon organizations and requires clear communication. Responsibilities include all aspects of design—from information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, to audits of production builds in HTML or native mobile platforms.

REQUIRED SKILLS :

• 8+ years of design experience within consumer products.
• A strong understanding of responsive design methodologies, and iOS and Android mobile platforms.
• Proven experience in delivering complex projects.
• Excellent documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively at various organizational levels, both written and verbal.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.
• Interest in exploring current design and technology trends for interactive experiences.
• Ability to analyze and document design processes and identify improvement opportunities independently.
• Self-starter capable of pushing projects forward with minimal oversight.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated creativity and innovation capabilities.
• Proficiency with Adobe CC Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop).

DESIRED SKILLS :

• Ability to translate UX designs into polished UI designs.
• Skills in constructing UI presentation layers in HTML/CSS, iOS Xcode, or Android Studio.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Interactive Design or Human Factors.
