Job Description
Objectives:
Performs responsibilities as the Company’s primary marketing developer, contact, and contributor, supporting the sales and marketing team in growth strategies for Creston products and services. Provides creative, strategic, and innovative input on marketing strategies. Supports the growth of the company website and e-commerce platform by developing and implementing marketing and advertising campaigns and tracking data and trends.
Job Responsibilities:
Print & Media Promotions:
- Manages vendor material and literature to ensure current catalogue and brochure editions are available and the vendor list is updated
- Distribute the vendor’s new promotional flyers and advise on sales parameters to inside and outside sales teams
- Develop vendor special promotional flyers
- Investigate and introduce new marketing opportunities
Website & On-line:
- Manage Creston’s website by making sure all posted promotions are current and assisting with any website updates
- Functions as a liaison between internal Creston team members and external marketing resources
- Develop and manage social media posts and marketing campaigns
- Assist in managing e-commerce marketing
Vendor & Product Marketing Development:
- Track product line sales that offer rebates or incentives for sales of their product
- Track vendor rebates and incentives to ensure proper payout occurs from vendors to Creston and to salespeople
- Communicate and coordinate all forms of vendor training events
- Assist in vendor score cards and tracking metrics
- Maintain CIS showroom
- Manage and communicate vendor co-op dollars
General Responsibilities:
- Coordinate vendor trainings and educational materials for sales team
- Maintain sales data, market trends, account analysis, and new product information
- Track and prepare sales and cost savings reports
- Organize monthly sales meetings or any other vendor training as needed
- Coordinate contract marketing consultants to ensure mar-coms are accurate
- Support and assist with other various office tasks and special projects as needed
Trade Show Coordination:
- Be the lead for Creston’s involvement with the Advanced Manufacturing Expo
- Sell Booth spaces to approved vendors for the Metalworking Hall
- Arrange setup and tear down activities for vendors during the show
- Attend all show events representing Creston and our partners
- Manage, organize, and coordinate all tradeshow activities for successful execution
- Coordinate travel arrangements
Education and Preferred Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent preferred
- 3-4 years of experience in sales and marketing coordination preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) required
- Knowledge and experience working with websites
- Knowledge and experience working with database and other systems
