Under direct supervision, the Patient Care Coordinator (Visual Field Technician) obtains data for purposes of diagnosing disease, and identifying visual field defects and changes.

Location: 3901 Hoyt Ave. Everett, WA

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm PST

Primary Responsibilities:

• Plots reliable visual field by following specific technical directives and practical application of ophthalmic knowledge 
• Ensures patient and medical record confidentiality
• Processes data according to defined procedures
• Schedules visual fields and other tests according to physician needs and schedules
• Orders and maintains inventory pertaining to visual field
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
• Current BLS certified or willing and able to obtain within 30 days of hire
• 1+ years of customer service experience  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to follow basic operating principles of visual field analyzer and perform minor machine maintenance
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Knowledge of ophthalmology, particularly physiology and pathology of visual field system
• Clinical experience in a physician's practice

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $17.74 to $31.63 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
